In-Town Process
In-town jobs are usually within a 90-mile radius of our shop in Evansville, Indiana. For in-town jobs, FCI can provide custom cabinetry, countertops, and appliances, as well as provide our professional installation services. To get this process started, we strongly encourage calling ahead and making an appointment with one of our designers. Our designers schedule out-of-office meetings and measures, and to guarantee that a designer is available to get your project started, it is best to make an appointment. We suggest bringing in rough measurements or blueprints, photos of your space and any inspirational images you may have.
After you have scheduled an appointment with one of our designers, you can expect the following steps to take place:
- Using your rough measurements and photos of existing space (if remodeling) or blueprints (if new build) an initial CAD floorplan (conceptual plan) will be created; revisions made if needed
- Estimate will be created based on CAD plan and initial meeting*
- Once project is confirmed and a 10% deposit received, we will proceed to the next steps
- Designer measure at home
- Detailed elevations and perspective drawings will be completed; revised as needed
- Selections made; revised as needed
- Final measure
- Client will sign off on drawings and selections
- Project goes into production
- Installation of project
*Our estimates are very thorough. Each room is quoted separately. Every option will be itemized out so you can see exactly what each option is costing, and you know what credit can be expected when you eliminate an option.
